Meet the Owner

Hi, My name is Ellise Boyd-Johnson. I am a wife and mother of 3 young adult children of my own. I have worked in the childcare field since 1994 as a preschool teacher for a large corporate daycare. I was promoted to Center Director in 2001. I continued to serve families for the next 15 years before opening Anointed Child Care Academy! I currently have a Bachelor Degree in Social Work and a Masters in Education with specialization in Early Childhood. I am dedicated to providing a safe and fun learning environment for every child enrolled. I would love for you and your family to become a part of our Christian Facility!

Hello everyone, my name is Nailah and I’m the Floater Assistant Teacher and also the owners daughter! I have been working here for 3 years and it’s a perfect place for me to get experience while I go back to school! I love creating learning games for the children and story time! In my free time, I like to write poems and draw!

I am Jarita Cook, and I am the single mom of two adult sons and the proud dog mom of a beautiful Labrador Retriever. I also have a daughter-in-law and a wonderful grandson. I am a veteran of the United States Navy. I have been a Nurse since 2006. I professionally work as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, which I absolutely love, but I enjoy my responsibilities to Anointed Childcare. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Nursing Education. I am a huge Chicago Bears football fan, a shopaholic, and I love to travel.

Hello parents

My name is Arielle Delaine I am one of the teachers at Anointed Child Care.

I have been in the child care field for 4 years. I’ve had experienced with all age groups. I studied child care at Olive Harvey College, where I received my child development certificate. Shortly after that I graduated with my Associates in Arts degree. I also attended Saint Xavier University where I graduated with a minor in Psychology and Liberal Arts.

I love working with children because I love how they think, grow and learn over time. I love to make a difference in their life because they depend on us as educators.

Hi, I’m Michael Pickering a.k.a. Mr. Mike!

I am the School-Age Teacher at Anointed Child Development Center. My first experience working with children was at In The Game Arcade as a go-kart attendant. Over the course of my 5 year tenure there I developed a passion for working with children. I look forward to an amazing school year filled with learning and fun, with many more to come!

Every Detail is Designed With Your Child in Mind

We’re proud to be a vital part of Joliet’s past, present, and future.

About Your Child – Enrollment form

Child Application Form

Our daycare programs utilize a holistic approach designed to treat your infant as an individual. From being flexible about nap and eating times to adapting on the fly to their needs, you’ll know that your baby is receiving high-quality care.

Unlike older children that can easily be assimilated into a single schedule, infants require constant attention and an ever-evolving daycare program. As such, the Anointed Childcare Academy solution puts a high emphasis on following your child’s progress and gradually adjusting their schedule as needed to incorporate more or less time with other infants as needed.

Because this style of infant daycare can be difficult to achieve, Anointed Childcare Academy hires only the best local staff and each member of our team has received excellent training to reach the high standards of care that have become our hallmark.

As your toddler grows older and spends more time interacting with others, Anointed Childcare Academy will be there to help guide their development, encourage positive social habits, and teach them the basics of independent thought.

The years spent as a toddler will be some of the most important and formative of your child’s life. For exactly that reason, Anointed Childcare Academy wants to help by ensuring that their journey into exploring the world around them is complete with professional staff that make sure they’re both given the freedom to learn as well as the resources needed to excel.

Our space at Anointed Childcare Academy has been designed with your toddler in mind. Sharp edges are nonexistent and shelving is reachable for even the littlest of arms. At our innovative Joliet facility, your toddler will be able to explore and learn to their heart’s content.

To schedule a visit or enroll your two years old into one of our daycare programs, contact Anointed Childcare Academy by email or phone at 779-379-5333.

With our Christian centered environment, combined with the Abeka Book Christian Curriculum, We believe that behavior and social interaction matters just as much as letters and numbers.

Our preschoolers practice writing and language development through daily interactions.

Children this age learn through an environment that allows them to discover themselves and the environment around them. We provide a safe and fun learning environment designed to help your child develop appropriately and get ready for Kindergarten. We meet with parents quarterly to discuss your child’s success and work with you to develop a plan to reach other areas he/she may struggle with. Feel free to ask for an update anytime on your child’s progress!
